I’ve just updated my list of releases (which you can see if you click “MUSIC” up there) and now they are 8! And 3 of them are really fresh since they’ve just been released this year in the last two months.
A little overview in case I forget it myself:
– 2 are Neebatelna only
– 1 a cooperation with Ronny Blue Boxenspecht
– 4 compilations (2 with other Rootwork Collective members)
– 1 (very new) remix album (with Frau Klangschwester)
This is one release I’ve also been hoping and waiting for for ages. It’s cool German hip hop, awesome rap performed by Ronny Blue Boxenspecht and mostly electronical beats put together by me. I love it and that’s a start. Do you like it too? Get it! This release is absolutely for free and download it whenever you want 🙂
Yeyyy! I’m happy to announce that the Rootwork Compilation Vol.1 has finally been released today. On the compilation are two songs that were created by me – Killer Bee and Schatten. Schatten features Ronny Blue Boxenspecht who wrote and performed the lyrics.
The 20 tracks compilation is awesome and for free – you should definitely check it out, download and share it:
Thanks! I wish you a good time listening to the music!
October the 6th is the date on which an awesome compilation of the Rootwork Collective will be released. It will be the first of three volumes.
To hear some tunes check out the following youtube-vid:
Let me quote from Facebook since I believe I can’t put it into any nicer words:
“The first volume presents a journey through the chilled side of the Rootwork Collective: Haunting and evocative Ambient/Drone sounds from Audraulic, Katajamäki, and Patterns of the Sky. Relaxed Future-Dub and Garage sounds from Age Be Dub’s, Baøbab, and Dominik Martian. Laid-back Downtempo and Hip Hop from Neebatelna and Generik, and many more styles from Euph Nonsense, Effector, MP30, and Mockwar.”
Yea, Neebatelna, too. I’m extremely happy about that and feel deeply honoured!
And dear German Hip-Hop Fans: Ronny will be heard as well 😉
My album “Origins” is available for download and will be yours for 2 Euros. Since it’s a huge collection of 17 songs it’s like 12 Cent each.
HOWEVER, as you can see in the title there’s something for free here. If you want to download even more Neebatelna stuff, I am happy to announce that you can get the following songs for free. I’ll be grateful for any sharing and everything and most importantly – enjoy them. Celebrate them. Sit down, grab a tea or beer and be happy.
There are news to this awesome project called Sawah Session! Ronny has just shown me a video clip, it’s basically him rapping and hip-hopping 😉 If that’s not cool enough for you, the background music is: It’s the sound of all our songs that will be released on the EP. A mixture of my beats as you know them from soundcloud and his boxenspechty rap skills in the poetic German language.
Within these songs is “Grüner Pinguin” (you might recognize the beat as the song “Killer Bee”) which already has its own clip:
So yea. What I was about to say is: The EP will be finished soon! YEAAA!! And it will be cool. Extremely cool.
Here is the clip:
It’s still crazy, full of industrial-inspired electronical songs. Fast and slow, nice and mean.
The cover art is new, so if you remember the old one, you might be a little surprised since it looks all different.
Unlike before, now you can get all of the 17 songs for 2$. That’s a lot of music for the price of a coffee, I’d say 😉
Drumming on my chair, drumming on a smoothie package and playing the guitar. Of course I felt like adding some bad ass Bass and Beat, as well.
That’s what comes out of it: I tried getting back to the roots of making music and that’s why I thought I need to have physical contact with something – lol. Other than just playing the guitar and looping a tiny part of it, I – this is the first time I have recorded something like this – started drumming a simple rhythm on the chair I sat next to at that glorious moment. No idea where this is leading to, but it was definitely fun to make.
This is a picture of a smoothie package like the one I used. Cute, isn’t it?
